This past August I shared with Summer Session participants that we might take 2009 off and re-up in 2010 in order to have time to plan the Summer Session extravaganza I see in my head which up until now, I have not really had the time to put together. By the time Summer Session is over and we enter the Fall workshop travel season I have about two weeks to get registration materials together before starting to advertise in January. That is not enough time to put the new format together. I envision field trips to local resources, such as the Strong National Museum of Play and to my friend Maury "the tree house man's" house whose yard is filled with treehouses, a music jam session night, various guest speakers and more make-and-take activities. In order to do this in the high quality style that we like to deliver (and that you have come to expect!) we need time to prep and plan. So stay tuned and for now, plan on attending the new and improved Summer Session making its debut in Summer 2010!
