Saturday workshop Mornings With Mary (keynote) followed by Lisa’s “The Importance of Early Experiences” workshop. After lunch we had our Make and Take Sessions: everyone made one of the following to bring home: Inko Dye T-shirts, Flashlight Brushes, Nylon Splatters and Art Spinners. Our afternoon wrap up workshop was “The Power of Play – environments that encourage life long learning.” |

Sunday Workshop We played many styles of cooperative, non-competitive and theatre games in the yard! We all took many new ideas home with us! After playing the games Lisa did her “Let’s Go Outside!” workshop after which we set the backyard with many outdoor activity ideas and got to experience them first hand. |

Saturday workshop Lisa’s opening keynote was followed by “Exploration of Learning Styles” presented by guest speaker: Eileen Greene. After lunch we once again had our Make and Take Sessions: everyone made one of the following to bring home: Sharpie Marker Tye-Dye T-shirts, Tile Blocks and Hose Phones. The afternoon closing session was Lisa’s “Circle Time is for squares – Rethinking Group time!” workshop. |

Sunday Workshop This half day session was an extended version of Lisa’s signature session, “Ooey Gooey® Squishy Plop!” We had lots of hands-on time in the back yard for this one! |

Saturday workshop Lisa’s opening keynote was followed by Lisa’s “Art is not a receipt for child care!” workshop. Followed once again by lunch and our Make and Take Sessions: everyone made one of the following to bring home: Traditional Tye Dye T-shirts, Hat paint brushes, art spinners and double handle brushes. Once again, everyone brought home what they had made! The afternoon closing session was the premiere of Lisa’s “Not now – it’s computer time” workshop which eventually turned into her current workshop “Taming the media monster – why computers and TVs do not belong in early childhood classrooms.” Lisa’s new material always premieres for the attendees of Summer Session before anyone else! |
